Assumption of Risk

Assumption of Risk Agreement

Participation in racquet sports training with J&C Sports & Coaching LLC, doing business as Matchpoint40 (“Matchpoint”), requires the undersigned participant (“Client”) to acknowledge and accept the risks inherent in such activities. Matchpoint may revise the terms of this Assumption of Risk from time to time, and the most recent version will be made available through its official platforms. Continued participation after such updates shall constitute agreement to the revised terms.

Recognition of Inherent Risks

The Client understands and acknowledges that racquet sports, including but not limited to tennis, paddle tennis, and pickleball, carry natural risks of physical harm. These risks may include minor injuries such as blisters, strains, or bruises, as well as more serious conditions such as sprains, fractures, concussions, paralysis, or even death. Such risks may arise from the Client’s own actions or inactions, the conduct of other participants, the use or condition of courts and equipment, or other unforeseen circumstances associated with athletic activity.

Health and Fitness Representation

The Client affirms that they are in suitable physical condition to engage in racquet sports training and that they have no medical condition or limitation which would endanger themselves or others while participating. The Client further agrees to notify Matchpoint immediately if any injury, illness, or change in health occurs that may affect safe participation.

Voluntary Participation

The Client acknowledges that their decision to enroll in Matchpoint’s training programs is entirely voluntary, made with full knowledge of the potential risks, and that they may withdraw from participation at any time.

Acceptance of Risk

By hiring or using the services of Matchpoint, the Client voluntarily assumes all risks, both known and unknown, associated with participation in Matchpoint activities. This assumption of risk expressly includes risks resulting from the negligence of Matchpoint, its officers, employees, coaches, or agents, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
